Families looking to treat their dads to a proper South African meal can head over to Chillmax Restaurant this Father’s Day. The local spot is hosting a special lunch on Sunday, 21 June, offering a relaxed afternoon built around good food and classic local flavours.

The event kicks off at 11:00 AM and runs until 3:00 PM, giving families plenty of time to sit back, catch up, and enjoy the day together.

What’s on the Menu

The kitchen is focusing on traditional comfort food for the occasion. Guests can look forward to a main course featuring:

Lamb potjie * Rice
Bread rolls
Curry noodle salad
To top off the meal, a classic South African dessert will be served: malva pudding with custard.

Alongside the buffet, local performer Johan Loots will provide live entertainment throughout the afternoon to keep the atmosphere lively.

The lunch is priced at R180 per person. Because space is limited, the restaurant requires all bookings to be finalised by 14 June to ensure the kitchen can accommodate everyone.
