Aganang Community Radio Station, a non-profit organization licensed by ICASA, has extended an open invitation to the people of Potchefstroom and surrounding areas to attend its upcoming Programming Meeting. The meeting is scheduled for 19 October 2025 at 13:00, and will take place at B.A. Seobi Secondary School (next to Ext 7 Taxi Rank).

Why the Meeting Matters
According to clause 4.2.1 of its broadcasting license, Aganang FM is required to hold two meetings per year with its community. These meetings form a vital link between the station and the public, ensuring transparency, accountability, and inclusivity in decision-making.
The primary aim of the meeting is to discuss Aganang FM’s radio programs and related matters. Members of the community will have an opportunity to:
Share their views on the station’s current programming.
Suggest new ideas or improvements.
Play a direct role in shaping the future of the station.
Community Participation at the Core
The board of Aganang FM emphasized that this meeting is about more than compliance, it is about giving local voices a platform. By inviting input from residents of Potchefstroom and surrounding areas, the station hopes to strengthen its bond with the community it serves and ensure that its content reflects the needs and aspirations of listeners.
