A Fitness Event With a Twist
On 8 November 2025, the Parys Golf & Country Estate will host something a little different from the usual golf carts and padel matches. The Air vs Ground Challenge Day is bringing together traditional workouts, aerial sports, and a good dose of competition.
The event runs from 15:00 to 20:00 and is open to both team and solo participants who are brave enough to take on Aerial Team SA. Expect ropes, poles, and plenty of moments where gravity and self-confidence will be tested.
What’s Happening on the Day
The schedule is designed for people who like a challenge but also for those who just want to watch others struggle gracefully in mid-air. The day includes:
Team and solo challenges on the ground and in the air
A Fundamentals Workshop for anyone wanting to learn the basics of aerial sports
Showcases from Aerial Team SA proving that hanging upside down is actually a skill
A prize-giving and entertaining show, because someone deserves bragging rights
Vendors and a licensed restaurant for refuelling (or comforting yourself if you bowed out early)
An on-site fitness hub keeping the health buffs happy
Who’s Behind It
The Challenge Day is a collaboration between Twisted Cirque, Aanavi, Restaurant 1919, Parys Golf & Country Estate, Piece of Parys, Hella Padel, and PGCE Fitness Hub. The action will also be covered by Parys Tourism Radio, ensuring the town knows who fell off the pole first.
