The Ascend Prayer Walk & Worship Gathering is gearing up for a full day of worship, prayer, and unity at Solid Ground, Klerksdorp. Starting at 9am and wrapping up at 11pm, the event aims to bring churches together to publicly declare that Jesus is Lord over the city.

What’s on the Agenda

Attendees can expect a mix of walking, worshipping, and praying throughout the day. This is not a “sit quietly in the corner” kind of event, the hosts encourage everyone to bring your Bible and your voice. With Life FM, Freshwave Movement, Stage Circuit, SA Stretch Co., and Solid Ground working together, the programme is set to run from morning to night.

Tickets and Entry

Pricing is straightforward:

R30 for kids 12 and under
R50 for anyone 13 and up
R100 for a family ticket

Tickets will be sold at the door or online via Solid Ground’s website and Quicket.

Facilities and Food

The organisers promise professional security, wheelchair accessibility, and plenty of parking, for those who measure distances in shopping landmarks, it’s about five minutes from the new Checkers in Flamwood.

Coney Meall Pizza Cones will keep the crowd fuelled with snacks and drinks, because even the most committed prayer warrior needs lunch.
