School of Singing Parys Prepares for its 5th Annual Gala Concert - 7 November

The students of the School of Singing Parys are getting ready to step into the spotlight for their 5th Annual Gala Concert on 7 November 2025. The event, a long-standing highlight of the school calendar, will be held at 86 Delver Street, Parys.

A Night for the Students

The gala concert gives students the chance to show off what they’ve learnt over the past year. It’s the moment where practice sessions, vocal exercises and the occasional off-key note finally pay off. Parents, friends and supporters can expect a mix of performances that show how far each student has come, complete with the confidence only a stage and bright lights can bring.

Student of the Year Announcement

At the end of the evening, Stéfan Louw will announce the 2025 Student of the Year. The honour comes with a trophy, which last year’s winner, Dr Walter Bell, will personally hand over. It’s a moment that often includes just as many tears as applause, depending on who’s holding the microphone.
