The City of Matlosana has initiated a series of social responsibility and public safety programs designed to support learners, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities. These efforts reflect a coordinated approach between the Office of the Speaker and local municipal departments.

School Footwear Distribution (Ward 18)
On Tuesday, January 20, 2026, the Office of the Speaker of Council, led by Cllr Stella Mondlane-Ngwenya, conducted a school shoe handover ceremony in Ward 18. This project was made possible through a strategic partnership with Legae La Ditshimologo NPC.
The primary goal of this drive was to remove barriers to education by providing essential footwear to students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Learn-To-Swim & Water Safety Awareness
