Community Joins Hands to Clean Illegal Dumping Site in JB Marks Ward 01

The spirit of unity and collective action will once again shine through as residents of JB Marks Ward 01 take part in the Letsema Programme, an initiative driven by the ANC to uplift communities through volunteerism and service.

On 3 September 2025, the ward will host a community clean-up campaign aimed at addressing one of its pressing environmental concerns, the illegal dumping site next to Mr B.

Purpose of the Initiative

Illegal dumping has long been a challenge in many neighborhoods, posing health risks, spoiling the environment, and lowering community morale. The Letsema Programme, through its localized efforts, seeks to restore cleanliness and pride in communities by encouraging active participation from residents.

Organizers and Coordination
