Cue the Celebration: JB Marks Hosts a Successful Pool & Darts Tournament

On Saturday, 28 June 2025, the JB Marks Local Municipality delivered a thrilling day of competition, camaraderie, and community spirit at the Ext. 05 Community Hall in Tshing, Ventersdorp. The Pool & Darts Tournament, hosted under the leadership of Cllr. Patricia Mtshali, MMC for Sports, Arts and Culture, drew in local talent and spectators from across the region.

The event was further honoured by the presence of the Acting Executive Mayor, Cllr. Ishmael Moilwa, who joined the proceedings and witnessed firsthand the vibrant atmosphere and competitive energy that filled the venue.
Friendly Rivalry, Real Rewards
With a strong focus on promoting community sports and inclusion, the tournament saw dozens of participants vying for trophies and cash prizes. Medals, cups, and large symbolic cheques were handed out to the winning teams, creating lasting memories for all involved.
