The City of Matlosana has shared two important service updates affecting residents: one highlighting the convenience of online municipal bill payments through EasyPay, and another addressing changes to refuse removal schedules due to the upcoming public holiday. These updates form part of the municipality’s efforts to improve service delivery and keep the community informed.

EasyPay: A Better Way to Manage Your Accounts
Residents of Matlosana can now view, download, and pay their municipal accounts online using the EasyPay system. The initiative is aimed at simplifying the billing process, reducing queues, and providing flexible access for account holders.
With the service available on multiple digital platforms, residents can manage their accounts at any time, ensuring greater convenience and efficiency in handling municipal obligations. This forms part of the City’s digital transformation efforts to enhance transparency and service delivery.

Public Holiday Refuse Removal Notice
The municipality has also confirmed that no household refuse removal will take place on Wednesday, 24 September 2025, due to the public holiday.
To ensure essential services are maintained, collection will be limited to:
Hospitals
Clinics
Supermarkets
Restaurants
Old age homes
Residents are advised to keep bins secured during this time. Normal household refuse removal services will resume on Thursday, 25 September 2025, following the usual schedule.
