This Saturday from 10am to 3pm, Eden Garden Centre in Klerksdorp will be hosting its eagerly awaited Market Day at the corner of Vlei and Dr Yusuf Dadoo Streets in Wilkoppies. Whether you're into plants, pancakes, or just dragging your kids out of the house, there’s something happening here that might just save your weekend plans.

What’s Happening

Let’s start with the basics:

• Date: 26 July 2025

• Time: 10:00 – 15:00

• Venue: Eden Garden Centre, Cnr Vlei & Dr Yusuf Dadoo, Wilkoppies, Klerksdorp

• Entry: R20 per adult, R10 for kids under 13, paid at the entrance

No online bookings. Just rock up and pay at the gate. Straightforward, old-school.

Why You Might Want to Pitch Up

Expect lots of stalls with all kinds of market fare (no promises, but there’s usually biltong somewhere), great food, local music, and that elusive “atmosphere” people always talk about at markets.

There’s also a jumping castle for kids, and Toddlertown will be making an appearance, so yes, you can actually bring the little ones without too much whining, from them or from you.

Help The Animal Shelter Out: Stilfontein Animal Shelter Appeal

This Market Day is also doing a bit of good. They’re collecting essential supplies, animal food and cash donations, for the Stilfontein Animal Shelter, who’ll receive everything on 28 July 2025.

So, if your pantry is overflowing with dog biscuits your pup turned their nose up at, or if you’ve got a few bucks to spare, bring it along. It’s going to a solid cause.

For one day only, that’s Saturday 26 July only, Eden Lifestyle Centre is offering 20% off all plants (excluding seedlings, sorry veggie gardeners). So whether you’re a green thumb or a plant killer with hope, now’s your chance to grab a deal.
