Empowering the Future: NARYSEC Parade Held at Potchefstroom Military Base

On 27 June 2025, the 4 Artillery Regiment Military Base in Potchefstroom became the stage for a significant milestone in youth development, as the National Rural Youth Service Corps (NARYSEC) hosted its official pass-out parade. The event celebrated the achievements of young participants who have successfully completed their training under this nationally recognized empowerment program.

Words of Encouragement from Leadership
The Acting Executive Mayor of JB Marks Local Municipality, Councillor Ishmael Moilwa, delivered a rousing and thoughtful address at the ceremony. In his speech, he commended the NARYSEC graduates for their dedication, discipline, and perseverance. He highlighted the program’s vital role in preparing young people to contribute meaningfully to both social development and the broader economy.
Councillor Moilwa emphasized that initiatives like NARYSEC not only build practical skills but also foster a sense of civic responsibility and national pride among youth from rural areas.
