Empowering Tomorrow's Leaders: NYS Phase V Team Building & Leadership Camp

The Kagiso Lerefolo Foundation has announced its upcoming NYS Phase V Team Building & Leadership Camp, designed to equip young participants with valuable leadership skills, build teamwork, and provide an engaging outdoor experience.

Scheduled from October 16–18, 2026, the three-day event will be hosted at the scenic Potchefstroom Dam. The camp combines personal development with fun outdoor recreation, offering a rounded experience focused on youth empowerment.

What to Expect: Camp Activities

Participants will take part in a variety of collaborative and creative outdoor sessions, including:

• Team Building & Indigenous Games: Fun physical and traditional group challenges designed to foster unity and problem-solving skills.

• Mental Health Talk: Interactive discussions focused on wellness, self-care, and personal growth.

• Treasure Hunting & Board Games: Engaging group activities to spark creative thinking and strategy.

• Evening Bonfire: Shared campfire sessions for social networking and reflection.
