Airsoft enthusiasts are gearing up for a day of tactical play as FvD Tactical brings an open game to Carletonville. The event takes place on 14 September 2025 at Tenex Deelkraal, 70 Deelkraal Drive, Carletonville.
Players will face off using realistic imitation firearms (RIFs) that fire 6mm plastic BBs. The format sticks to a military-style structure, giving the feel of combat without the risk.
Fees and Booking
Costs are straightforward. R180 if you bring your own kit, R450 if you need a rental.
All players must pre-book. Rental kit players also need to pre-pay to confirm their spot. A pre-registration system is in place, which means liability and POPIA documents are sent ahead of time.
Bookings go through WhatsApp only:
082 048 1535
082 793 9788
Schedule for the Day
The day will be structured as follows:
Registration: 08:30
Game Briefing: 09:30
Game Start: 10:00
Lunch: 12:30–13:30 (players should bring their own lunch)
Game End: 16:00
Safety and Game Format
Airsoft is a mix of sport and strategy. Participants will take part in military simulation-style (MilSim) scenarios that emphasise teamwork and tactics. As safety is non-negotiable, full-seal eye protection is required at all times.
Collaboration and Community
The event is run in collaboration with Tier 1 Alliance and Tenex. Both organisations are active in the airsoft community and work to maintain safe, structured gameplay.
This isn’t a spectator sport unless you enjoy being pelted with plastic, so best to kit up and join in if you’re keen. For those new to the hobby, rentals make it easy to test the waters. Just don’t forget your lunch – no tactical manoeuvres will save you from midday hunger.
