The sports department of Goudwes School has officially celebrated a major provincial achievement following the recent round of the national LSEN (Learners with Special Educational Needs) Rugby Tournament.
Goudwes learner Mendose Tai anchored the Golden Lions Rugby Union (GLRU) LSEN team to a hard-fought victory over the Leopards.
The GLRU squad displayed high-intensity tactical discipline and structure to claim a well-deserved 24–16 victory over their provincial rivals.
Masterclass Performance and Individual Honors
The match was characterized by physical breakdown battles and high-tempo backline execution from both provincial sides. The GLRU team established early dominance, executing their set-pieces effectively from the opening whistle to the final buzzer.
