Help Make a Child’s Christmas Special at This year's Dominionville Christmas Party

The festive season is a time for giving, joy, and community, and this December, a group of caring residents are bringing that spirit to life in Dominionville with a Christmas Party for around 55 children.

The event will take place on 6 December 2025, and it’s all about giving every child a day to remember - filled with laughter, love, and the simple pleasures that make childhood magical.

How You Can Help

The organisers are calling on the Potchefstroom and surrounding communities to lend a helping hand. You don’t have to do much; even sponsoring one child can make a world of difference.

Each child will receive a small Christmas gift pack that includes:

• ✏️ Stationery – for the new school year ahead

• 🧴 Sanitary products – essential for hygiene and confidence

• 👕 Clothing – new outfits for a fresh start

• 🧸 A toy – because every child deserves something to unwrap

• 🍫 Snacks or sweets – to make the day a little sweeter

In addition, the team is still in need of food and drinks to serve during the event, anything from juice boxes and cooldrinks to sandwiches, hotdogs, or finger snacks.

What's Already Sorted

Thanks to two wonderful community members, the jumping castle and slide are already sponsored, ensuring a day full of laughter and play.

The Children

This heartfelt initiative will cater to about 55 children, with ages ranging from as young as 2 years old up to 16 years old.

Every one of these children deserves a reason to smile this festive season, and with your support, that can become a reality.
