JB Marks Home Affairs Brings Smart ID Collection Services Closer to Communities

The Department of Home Affairs has announced a convenient Smart ID collection drive across several communities within the JB Marks Local Municipality. Residents who have applied for Smart ID cards are encouraged to collect them at the designated venues on the specified dates.

According to the department, residents should send their ID numbers and the name of their area to their local councillor or to Mr Fokazi from Home Affairs via WhatsApp at 078 814 9972 at least one day before the distribution in their area. This requirement helps the department prepare in advance and aims to reduce long queues while bringing services closer to the people.
