JB Marks Municipality Invites Public to Participate in Annual Report Discussions

JB Marks Local Municipality is calling on all community members to take part in important public participation meetings to discuss the 2023/2024 Annual Report.
In line with Section 21A of the Municipal Systems Act (MSA) and Section 129 of the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA), the Municipal Public Accounts Committee (MPAC) is creating a platform for residents to give input, ask questions, and help shape better service delivery.
The meetings aim to:
Encourage open engagement between the public and the municipality
Gather feedback on municipal performance
Foster transparency and accountability
