The Keep Pride, Keep Clean Awareness Campaign, held yesterday at Promosa Primary School, was a resounding success. Organized under the leadership of Project Director Nthabiseng “Moxie” Mokgethi, the event brought together learners, teachers, and community members to promote environmental responsibility and pride in keeping the community clean.

A Morning of Inspiration and Action
The event took place from 07h20 to 08h00, with enthusiastic participation from both students and local partners. The highlight of the morning was the powerful message shared with everyone: the importance of maintaining a clean environment, embracing recycling, and understanding what valuable products can be created from recyclable materials.

Creative Performances and Displays
The day’s program was filled with inspiring performances that added energy and color to the campaign. The Spiritual Dance Group, along with the Amapiano and Hip Hop Dance Teams, entertained the crowd with engaging performances that celebrated unity and creativity. A special Recyclable Arts Display showcased innovative art pieces made entirely from recycled materials, reinforcing the theme of environmental awareness and creativity.

Community Support and Appreciation
The event received generous support from Blue Ribbon, who participated actively and donated squares to the project. Their contribution played a significant role in ensuring the campaign’s success and demonstrated the impact of community partnerships in promoting environmental stewardship.

Clean-Up and Lasting Impact
After the performances and speeches, participants joined hands in a school clean-up session, making Promosa Primary School a shining example of community pride and environmental care. The event concluded with smiles, laughter, and a renewed sense of responsibility toward keeping Promosa clean.

“We had a successful event today,” said the organizing team. “Thanks to Blue Ribbon who participated and donated squares for the project. Our spiritual dances, Amapiono/Hip Hop dance group and the Recyclable Arts display were all in aid of the Cleaning Campaign. The important message of the day was to keep our environment clean, recycle, and explore what can be produced through recyclable materials. Afterwards, the school was cleaned.”
