Keotshepile Primary Triumphs in Build It Soccer Tournament Thriller

The spirit of sportsmanship and community pride filled Ikageng Stadium last Saturday as local schools battled it out in the annual Build It Soccer Tournament. The event, aimed at promoting youth development through sport, saw Keotshepile Primary School crowned as champions after a dramatic 3–2 penalty shootout victory over Little Saints Primary School.

⚽ Tight Contest to the Very End
Both teams showed exceptional determination and skill throughout the match. Despite several scoring chances on both sides, the game remained goalless after full time, ending 0–0. The match was then decided by penalties, where Keotshepile Primary kept their composure to clinch victory 3–2.
Speaking after the game, Keotshepile’s coach praised the young players for their teamwork and discipline.
“Our boys worked hard for this. They played with heart, and we are proud of what they’ve achieved,” he said.

The Build It Soccer Tournament continues to play a vital role in nurturing young sporting talent in the Ikageng community. By providing a platform for local schools to compete, it helps instil discipline, teamwork, and confidence among learners.
A representative from Build It commended all participating schools, saying:

The event closed with a short ceremony where Keotshepile Primary was awarded the championship trophy, medals, and a sponsored kit courtesy of Build It.
