In the run-up to the National Day Against Child Labour, the Department of Employment and Labour will deploy its mobile offices to three Matlosana communities, bringing vital labour-market support directly to residents. From Tuesday, 5 August through Thursday, 7 August, departmental teams will be on-site at Kanana Extension 13, the City of Matlosana Hall and the Orkney Library to assist with claims, registrations and enforcement inquiries, no appointment required.

Services on Offer
Residents visiting the mobile offices can:
File or track Compensation Fund (CF) claims for work-related injuries and occupational illnesses.
Register with and claim Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) benefits, including maternity, illness and unemployment payouts.
Report non-compliant employers or unsafe workplace conditions via Inspection and Enforcement Services (IES).
Access Public Employment Services such as vacancy registrations, CV-writing workshops and referrals to vocational training.

Those attending should bring their Identity Document (ID) or valid passport, a completed UI-19 form, a salary schedule (if applicable) and a curriculum vitae to expedite processing.
