Local Choirs to Take the Stage at Miederpark

Music lovers in Potchefstroom have a melodic evening to look forward to this Friday as the North West Children’s Choir Festival returns. The event brings together several local schools and youth ensembles for a showcase of choral talent at the NG Gemeente Miederpark.
The festival features a packed programme that kicks off early in the afternoon, with the first notes of the official welcome scheduled for 18:00.
A Night of Choral Variety
The evening is set to highlight the diversity of young vocal talent in the region. The North West Children’s Choir will bookend the event, opening the performances and providing the final curtain call.
In between, the stage will host a variety of junior and senior groups, including:

Refreshments and Logistics
While the music begins at 18:00, the doors open at 17:30 to allow guests to find their seats. For those looking to grab a bite before the show, food and drink sales start at 16:00. The menu includes winter staples such as soup and bread for R20, toasted sandwiches for R25, and coffee for R15, alongside various snacks.
Attendees are reminded that there are no card facilities at the venue. All transactions for tickets and refreshments will be cash only.
