We're thrilled to share that Potchefstroom High School for Boys, Chris Nunu, has been chosen to represent the Leopards U16A team at this year’s Grant Khomo Week in Pretoria! This is a massive achievement for Chris and a proud moment for our school and wider community.

What’s the Big Deal About Grant Khomo Week?
If you’re not familiar with it, Grant Khomo Week is one of the most respected schoolboy rugby tournaments in the country. It’s where top U16 players from across South Africa come together to show what they’re made of. Many Springboks have started their journeys here. So, for Chris to make the squad? That’s no small thing. 👏
But Here’s the Catch…
As with most representative sports, there are costs involved, travel, kit, accommodation and more. And that’s where we’re hoping you’ll come in. Chris needs our support to make this opportunity a reality.

How You Can Help 💰
We’re calling on parents, alumni, businesses, and the wider community to lend a hand. Every little bit counts, whether it’s R50 or a bigger sponsorship. If you’ve ever sat on the side of a rugby field cheering someone on, you’ll know how much it means when a community backs its players. All the details for donations and sponsorships are in the attached letter. Please have a look and consider how you can help Chris take this big step forward.
Let’s Rally Behind Chris 🙌
Chris is putting in the hard work on the field. Let’s match that effort by helping him off the field. This isn’t just about one player, it’s about showing what’s possible when a community gets behind its youth.
