Matlosana Prepares for Remmogo Lifestyle Picnic - 16 December

The Matlosana community, and anyone else who enjoys a decent jol, can mark their calendars for a vibrant day out as the Remmogo Lifestyle Picnic makes its return. Described as the heartbeat of the Remmogo Lifestyle Weekend, this one-day event is set to deliver a mix of live music, food, and family fun on Tuesday, 16 December 2025.

Day of the Picnic

The picnic takes place at the Water Paradise Pleasure Resort, near the Klerksdorp Dam in Matlosana. The location, specifically R30, Wilkoppies Informal, Klerksdorp, will see the gates open at 10:00 and close at 20:00. The event itself, according to the organisers, will run from 09:00 to 19:00.

Attendees can look forward to a full day celebrating tirisano mmogo, which means 'working together'. The setup includes big picnic lawns, ample shade, and dedicated braai areas for those who plan to bring their own meat.

Music and Entertainment

The entertainment roster is geared towards a relaxed yet energetic atmosphere. The day promises live performances from various DJs, but the highlight is the appearance of Amanda Black, who is scheduled to perform live with her full band.

In addition to the music, there will be food and lifestyle stalls, curated brand activations, and a dedicated Kiddies Zone, ensuring that the event remains family-friendly. Professional photographers will also be on-site to capture the day's bright summer vibes.

Entry to the picnic is managed through a variety of ticketing options. Individual access for adults is priced at R250 in Phase 3, while Kiddies Access is R100 for the same phase. For those planning to attend on the day, gate tickets for adults will be R300.

Group bookings are available for those coming with their whole squad. The "My Circle Package" offers access for five people at R1 200.00. Larger groups can opt for the "My Crew Package" for ten people at R2 300.00 or the "My Family Package" for fifteen people at R3 300.00.
