Merafong Celebrates Success of 2025 Mayoral Games

The 2025 Mayoral Games Tournament, held on Saturday, 8 November 2025, brought together athletes, coaches, and community members from across Merafong City in a vibrant display of sportsmanship, teamwork, and community pride. The event marked another successful milestone in promoting youth development, healthy living, and social unity through sport.
Acknowledgement and Appreciation:
The Executive Mayor of Merafong City, Cllr. Nozuko Best, extended her heartfelt appreciation to all sponsors, partners, coaches, and participants for their dedication and support in making the Mayoral Games a success. Special thanks were conveyed to Nedbank and Dunlop for their generous sponsorship, which played a key role in advancing community sports and youth engagement in the region.
Cllr. Best also commended the Merafong City Sports Confederation, coordinators, and local sports volunteers whose efforts ensured smooth organization and fair play throughout the tournament.
