Messages of Faith and Motivation for Students

A Message from Bro Thabang Dithlake
Bro Thabang encouraged students to believe in themselves and face their challenges with courage and faith. He reminded learners that their worth is not defined by exam results but by their determination and trust in God.
“You are capable and destined for greatness,” he wrote, referencing Joshua 1:9:‘Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.’
His message highlighted the importance of inner strength, perseverance, and divine guidance. “When you enter that exam room,” he added, “remember that the Lord is with you. Good luck!”
A Message from Sr Ompone Legotlo
Sr Ompone reminded learners that they are ready, capable, and not alone. She acknowledged that exams can be stressful, but urged students to focus on giving their best rather than striving for perfection.
“Take each question calmly, think clearly, and trust yourself,” she advised.
She emphasized faith and hard work through scripture:
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” — Proverbs 16:3
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” — Philippians 4:13
“God has given us a spirit not of fear but of power, love, and self-control.” — 2 Timothy 1:7
Her message called for confidence, calmness, and perseverance. “You have worked hard, you have prepared,” she said, “now it’s your time to shine.”
Rooted in Faith, Driven by Purpose
Both messages carried a unifying theme, faith in God, belief in oneself, and the assurance that effort combined with prayer leads to success. The Parish encouraged students to commit their studies to God and remain positive throughout the exam season.
As the Mount Sinai Parish YL concluded:
“Believe in yourself, commit everything to God, and know that your future is bright!”
GOOD LUCK to all learners!
