As part of continued service delivery efforts, the JB Marks Local Municipality reported significant developments across several departments, with teams active in road infrastructure, water systems, sanitation, and paving initiatives. The latest update reflects maintenance operations concluded by Friday, 18 July, with new targets set for the coming week.

Road Infrastructure Repairs
Completed
Fontein Street has officially been marked 100% pothole-free following the completion of full repairs.
In Progress
Goud Street reached 80% completion, with crews expected to continue uninterrupted until full restoration is achieved.
Wilgen Street reported 47% progress as of Friday. The project will pause over the weekend and is scheduled to resume on Monday, according to municipal schedules.
Paving and Accessibility Projects
Tshwaranang Disability Centre (Entrance Area): Paving work has been completed.
Improvements have notably enhanced accessibility for visitors, aligning with broader inclusion goals.
Yellow Fleet and Road Clearance
Mosidi Street (Ward 11): Site clearing has been finalized and road access restored.
The area, previously impacted by sewer-related excavation, has been declared safe for traffic.
