The North West Development Agency (NWDA) will proudly stage a theatrical performance titled Asinamali Women, adapted from the acclaimed work of Dr. Mbongeni Ngema. This production is part of NWDA's initiative to celebrate Women's Month by highlighting the powerful voices and lived experiences of South African women through the medium of theatre.

About the Production
Asinamali Women is a reinterpretation of the original anti-apartheid play Asinamali, viewed through the perspective of women. It portrays their stories of resistance, struggle, and resilience with emotional depth and raw authenticity. This adaptation seeks to honor the role of women in the broader socio-political landscape of South Africa.
The production is directed by Thapelo Mokgosi and managed by production manager Jacob Boesman. Together, they have shaped a narrative that is compelling, thought-provoking, and socially relevant.
