Klerksdorp locals looking for something to do this spring might want to keep 1 November 2025 open. Padel and Play is hosting its first-ever Spring Festival, promising a full day of food, music and general family chaos, the good kind.
A Bit of Everything
The festival will feature a mix of market and food stalls, live music, a bar for the grown-ups, and plenty of children’s entertainment. Expect trampolines, padel cars, bicycles, jumping castles, a waterslide, and even miniature horses. Basically, if it moves, bounces or makes kids squeal, it’ll probably be there.
Who Pays What
Entry for adults is free, which should make it easier to justify another round at the food trucks or bar. Kids under 13 pay R50, and that gets them unlimited play on the day, a solid deal for parents hoping for a few hours of peace while the little ones burn off their energy.
When and Where
The fun kicks off at 10:00 and carries on “until late,” which in Klerksdorp terms could mean anything from sunset to whenever the last guitar string snaps. The venue is Padel and Play, located at 1 Meteor Road, Urania-ville, Klerksdorp, or as some locals still call it, the Old Showgrounds.
It’s a cash-friendly event, so bring enough for snacks, stalls and possibly a round or two at the bar. With free entry for adults and plenty lined up for kids, it’s shaping up to be an easy-going day out, the kind where no one judges your dance moves.
