Pop Up Christmas Market Hitting Klerksdorp Soon - 19 and 20 December

The Village Shopping Centre in Klerksdorp is set to host The V4V Pop Up Christmas Market on Friday, 19 December and Saturday, 20 December 2025. It seems the festive cheer is arriving early, and the organisers are keen to get all the vendors they need for what promises to be a great weekend event.

Dates, Times, and Location Details

The market will open on Friday from 2pm to 9pm, giving shoppers a chance to browse after work. Saturday's hours are a proper early start, running from 8am to 3pm. You'll find the action at 103 Buffelsdoorn Road, Wilkoppies, Klerksdorp, which is where The Village Shopping Centre is located.

Getting a Stall: Vendor Information

The call for vendors is out! Organisers are looking for both food and craft vendors to participate.

• Food Stalls cost R300 per day.

• Crafts & Other stalls are a bargain at R200 per day.

• Electricity is available for an extra R150 per day.

Layout and Decor: Bring the Mielie-Pop

The market has a specific layout plan, so vendors should listen up. Food vendors will be positioned right outside the door on either side of the entrance, while the craft stalls will be inside the hall.

For those with a bigger operation, the rule is clear: if your food stall is a truck or trailer, you'll be directed to the parking right in front of the venue.

While the hall will have some decorations, all vendors are asked to decorate their tables as much as possible, including themselves. So, think tinsel, Santa hats, and maybe even a few fairy lights. No one wants a boring stall, neh?

The organisers are quite lekker about the built-in foot traffic the market expects. They mention there will naturally be shoppers from the centre's shops, as well as people from surrounding companies. However, they aren't relying on that alone and confirm they will advertise to get as many shoppers as they can through the door.
