The High School for Girls Potchefstroom’s majorettes team is off to the 2025 National Championships in Oudtshoorn, taking place from 5 to 13 July, and the whole school is behind them! This trip is a big moment for the team, who’ve been training in all kinds of weather, rain, cold, or blazing sun, and never missing a beat. The school shared a special message this week, wishing their drummies good luck as they take the field against some of the strongest squads from across South Africa.

Proud of Their Grit and Team Spirit 🥁
The Girls High drummies are known for their discipline, team unity, and high energy. What stands out most is how they show up – early mornings, late afternoons, and give it their all. Whether it's learning new routines or repeating drills again and again, they keep at it with focus and commitment.
A Moment to Shine 🌟
Representing Potchefstroom on the national stage is a big deal, and these girls have earned their shot. It’s more than just baton-twirling, it's marching, movement, rhythm, teamwork, and lots of hours behind the scenes. We’ll be following the journey closely and cheering for every formation, every salute, and every performance. So whether you're from Potch, Klerksdorp, or anywhere in the North West, let’s all wish them well as they compete in Oudtshoorn!
