A beloved community project is reaching out once more. Bark Fetch Park, a safe and joyful space for dogs and their humans, has already made impressive strides thanks to the generosity and involvement of volunteers and local supporters. But to bring the park to its full potential, a few essential items and services are still needed.

Below is a concise breakdown of what remains on the to-do list and how anyone can get involved to help finish this community initiative.
Final Fencing & Safety Needs
To secure the premises and ensure the safety of both pets and people, the park still needs razor wire and poles to properly close off the area behind the main building. In addition, there’s a need to enclose the front and sides of the building using Smartview fencing. These additions will help prevent stray animals from entering and keep all furry visitors safe within the boundaries of the park.
Tiles, Paint, and Building Essentials
The interior facilities of Bark Fetch Park include two toilets and a kitchen, all of which still require tiling. Basic finishing touches like paint for the buildings are also on the list to create a fresh, clean, and welcoming space for visitors. In terms of infrastructure, interior wooden doors and steel doors for outside access are needed to complete the buildings.
Security Upgrades
Security remains a top priority. The park team is seeking burglar-proof mesh and security gates for four key access doors. These additions will safeguard the property, supplies, and ensure the longevity of the facility against theft or vandalism.
Landscaping & Eco-Friendly Touches
Community contributions of dog-safe plants for the perimeter and green areas inside the park would add both beauty and function. These plants will enhance the natural environment and contribute to the park’s goal of being a relaxing, eco-friendly space.
In parallel, help is needed with cutting grass, applying weed and termite control, and general upkeep of the grounds to keep it pet-friendly and tidy.
Irrigation Support
Finally, maintaining healthy vegetation requires a working irrigation system. Irrigation supplies, particularly coupling valves and other components, are still required to support the long-term care of all plant life in the park.

Every Bit Helps
Whether you’re a local supplier, a business owner, or simply an animal lover who wants to support a safe and happy space for dogs, every contribution matters. From donating a bag of fertilizer or a door hinge, to sponsoring part of the fencing or volunteering your time, there are countless ways to be part of this meaningful community project.
If you can assist or would like to know more, please reach out to the Bark Fetch Park team directly via their social platforms. Together, we can fetch a brighter future for our four-legged friends.
