The organisation is specifically calling for donations of essential goods to fill the food hampers for parents. These items represent basic necessities that can significantly alleviate the strain on struggling families:

The spirit of giving in Potchefstroom has already been evident through various successful donation drives. The Vat Verniet Tafel recently executed a highly successful series of "Trolley Days," where volunteer teams stood at various supermarkets to fill shopping trolleys with community donations.
During these events, which included a drive on Saturday, November 29th, teams were stationed at locations such as Pick 'n Pay Van der Hoffpark, Pick 'n Pay Canal Crossing, Mooirivier Junction Checkers, and Econo Foods. These days resulted in incredible collections of chips, toys, and essential food items. A video documenting the success of these Trolley Days is soon to be shared, serving as a powerful testament to the community's generosity.
