Ward 16 covers busy residential pockets of Ikageng together with the quieter Karana area. Nelson Mandela Drive, Lekhele Street and the internal feeder roads knit the suburb to central Potchefstroom and neighbouring wards.

Ward Overview
Spanning sections of Promosa and large semi-rural tracts west of town, Ward 17 blends suburban life with wide-open farmland. Main boundary roads include Eleazer Street, RSR Road and parts of the R501.

Centred on the densely populated blocks of Ikageng that straddle Nelson Mandela Drive, Ward 18 is framed by Katlego Street and Phatsima Street, offering residents quick access to Potchefstroom’s main arterial routes.
