The Promosa Young Stars Football Club is preparing to participate in a local soccer tournament taking place on Saturday, 25 May 2025, and the team is calling on the Potchefstroom community for assistance with food parcel sponsorships.

According to a formal letter shared by the team’s management, the club is seeking help in the form of packed meals, food items, or financial contributions to provide meals for their players on the day of the event. A total of approximately 80 food parcels are needed to cover the team’s needs.

Promosa Young Stars is made up of dedicated youth players who have been consistently training and competing while representing the Promosa community. The team’s management, Racheal and Farucia, noted that proper nutrition on match day contributes to better performance and helps support the players’ overall well-being.

“Your sponsorship will help us provide much-needed meals and refreshments for the players during this important event,” the letter reads.

In return for assistance, sponsors will be acknowledged publicly on the team’s social media platforms, during the event itself, and in any related media coverage.
