The highly anticipated Ayoba Fun Day at Potchefstroom Central School (PCS) has hit a small weather-related speed bump. Originally scheduled for Wednesday, 25 March, the school has officially announced that the event will be moved to a later date to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all learners.

New Date: Thursday, 9 April 2026
Due to the recent rainy weather and the forecast ahead, the decision was made to postpone the festivities. For safety reasons, the mechanical rides and outdoor attractions cannot operate in wet conditions.
What You Need to Know:
Normal School Day: Wednesday, 25 March, will now be a standard academic school day. Learners should attend school as usual with their necessary books and stationery.
Arrangements Unchanged: All previous arrangements, including ticket sales, food stalls, and activity schedules, will remain exactly the same, just on the new date of 9 April.
Continued Support: The school has thanked parents and learners for their understanding, noting that the goal is to provide the best possible "Ayoba" experience under sunny skies.
The Silver Lining
While the wait might be a little longer, the excitement for the Ayoba Fun Day remains high. This shift gives everyone a few more days to prepare for what promises to be one of the highlights of the school term!
