The heart of the tour was rooted in deep community connection. On 15 May, updates highlighted a heartwarming initiative by frontman Steve Ashley and his wife/band manager, Ebeth, who had spent the previous week visiting six retirement villages across the Western Cape. They brought music, memories, laughter, and dancing to countless residents.
The pinnacle of these visits unfolded on the evening of 15 May, when Steve sang directly to a 101-year-old fan. Her radiant smile made the evening truly unforgettable, proving to everyone in attendance that music knows absolutely no age bounds.
