City of Matlosana has issued a public notice regarding a planned power interruption scheduled for Thursday, 30 October 2025, to allow Eskom to carry out essential maintenance work at the Jouberton Main Substation.

According to the notice, the outage is necessary to repair a hot connection within the substation infrastructure, which forms a critical link in the regional electricity distribution network. The maintenance aims to prevent potential electrical faults and ensure the long-term reliability and safety of supply to surrounding communities.
