Scheduled Water Interruption in Old Ikageng Area for Pipeline Repairs

The JB Marks Local Municipality has announced a planned water supply interruption to carry out essential repair work on a main water pipeline in the Old Ikageng Area.
According to the municipality’s public notice, the interruption is scheduled for Friday, November 14, 2025, from 09h00 (morning) until 17h00 (afternoon). The planned outage will allow municipal teams to repair a water leak located at the corner of Sepotokele and Maphongo Streets.

Residents Urged to Store Water in Advance
The municipality has urged residents in the affected areas to store sufficient water ahead of the planned outage to minimize inconvenience during the repair period.
“The JB Marks Local Municipality apologizes for any inconvenience that may be caused due to this water supply interruption,” the statement read.
