Khuma residents should prepare for an upcoming disruption to their water supply due to essential maintenance activities planned by the City of Matlosana Municipality.
Details of the Interruption
The planned interruption is set to occur between 08:00 and 18:00 on Tuesday, 15 July 2025.
Specific areas that will experience low pressure or complete water outages include Khuma extensions 6, 8, 3, 9, 10, and 11.
Municipality officials explained that urgent repairs are needed to address a significant leak in the main water line. These repairs are critical to maintaining the overall integrity and reliability of the area's water supply system
Temporary Measures
To ease the inconvenience for affected residents, the municipality will deploy water tankers throughout the impacted zones. These tankers will provide temporary relief until regular water service is restored.
