Slipper Day Brings Big Smiles to Redwood College

Redwood College was full of colour, comfort and good vibes recently as learners arrived in their favourite cosy slippers for Slipper Day, and what a sight it was! From fluffy bunnies to funky cartoon feet, the school halls were alive with cheerful energy.

👣 A Small Step With a Big Message

While it was all fun and laughter on the outside, Slipper Day also reminded us about something a little deeper, that small acts of kindness can go a long way. Putting on slippers for the day may seem simple, but it carries a message of care and support for those in need.

Events like this show how a school community can come together to do something meaningful while still having a good time. The learners fully embraced the spirit of the day, and the vibe was light-hearted and full of connection.

A big thumbs-up to everyone who took part and made the day special, it’s proof that doing good doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes, it’s as simple as wearing slippers to school.
