Currently, the need is great, as only 13 of the 82 kennels have found a dedicated sponsor. This means the vast majority of residents rely solely on the general fund for their daily needs. By sponsoring a kennel, individuals can directly ensure a safe, clean, and well-cared-for home for an animal waiting for their forever family.
A kennel sponsorship is an investment in the daily well-being of the shelter's residents. For just R200 a month, or R2000 for an entire year, sponsors provide essential support. This crucial funding goes directly toward securing quality food, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, covering daily care, and addressing medical needs, including vital vet trips. The Shelter emphasizes that every contribution is tax-deductible, offering a tangible return on this charitable act.
