StroomCares Presents: Dans vir W.J. – Potchefstroom Businesses Dancing for a Cause

In true Potchefstroom spirit, where community and compassion always come first, StroomCares invites all local businesses and residents to join hands (and dancing shoes!) for a special fundraising evening , “Dans vir W.J.”

This heartfelt event is being held in support of W.J. Immelman, a devoted father of three and a respected member of our community, who is bravely fighting bone marrow cancer. The evening promises not only great fun but also a chance to make a real difference in the life of a family facing extraordinary medical challenges.

A Night of Unity and Generosity

Hosted at Die Voerkraal in Fochville on Friday, 28 November 2025, the event will feature live entertainment from the beloved Oppi-Stoep Dansorkes, as well as stalls, children’s activities, and, of course, dancing for a purpose.

The goal? To raise vital funds to help cover W.J.’s ongoing medical expenses, including costly blood transfusions, specialised medication, and upcoming treatment. His journey has inspired countless locals who’ve witnessed his courage and faith during this difficult time, and now, the community has a chance to give back.
