The High School for Girls Potchefstroom is celebrating a truly "supreme" achievement following a dominant performance by one of their own at the Horse of the Year Show (HOYS).

Franka Kempen and her trusty pony, Zeuss, traveled to the Kyalami Equestrian Park in Midrand during the first week of March to compete against the best riders in the country, and they returned as national champions.
A Dominant Week in the Arena
The competition at HOYS is famously rigorous, but Franka and Zeuss showed incredible synergy throughout the week. In the preliminary rounds of the Working Riding category, the duo secured:

These consistent results comfortably earned them a coveted spot in the final championship round.
Taking the Top Title
Under the bright lights of the final round, Franka and Zeuss delivered a flawless performance. Their precision and partnership earned them the ultimate accolade: Supreme Champion in Working Riding.
Becoming a Supreme Champion at HOYS is considered one of the highest honours in South African equestrian sport, marking Franka as a rider of exceptional caliber.
