Two talented Grade 12 learners from Technical High School Klerksdorp, Banyenyana Machuba and Matlhogonolo Mogotsi, proudly represented their school in a live radio debate hosted by Nthability on STAR FM.

The topic, “Should traditions be preserved in modern times?”, sparked a lively and thought-provoking discussion filled with insightful arguments from both sides. The learners demonstrated confidence, maturity, and excellent communication skills as they tackled this complex subject, exploring how cultural values can coexist with progress and innovation in today’s world.

The debate concluded with a powerful message, that tradition remains deeply interwoven with our identity. To stay connected to who we are, it’s important to preserve, nurture, and celebrate our cultural heritage while adapting to modern realities.
