Temporary Water Supply Interruption for Ventersdorp Road Pump Station

The JB Marks Local Municipality has announced that residents should prepare for a temporary water supply interruption due to scheduled electrical upgrade work at the Ventersdorp Road Pump Station.

The shutdown will take place on Tuesday, 23 September 2025, from 12h00 to 16h00. This interruption is necessary to allow the technical team to carry out the work safely and effectively.

Areas That May Be Affected

The municipality has indicated that the following areas could experience water supply disruptions:

• Promosa

• Mohadin

• Dassierand

• SANDF Base

• Witrand Hospital

• Kannoniers Park

• All Ikageng Extension Areas

The JB Marks Local Municipality emphasized that the upgrades are aimed at improving infrastructure to ensure a more reliable water supply in the future.
