THS Klerksdorp and SANBS Partner for Life-Saving Blood Drive

Technical High School Klerksdorp is calling on its learners and the local community to stand together and help save lives by participating in an upcoming blood donation event. Organized in collaboration with the South African National Blood Service (SANBS), the drive is scheduled for 22 January 2026.

Donor Eligibility Criteria

To qualify as a donor and "be a hero," volunteers must meet the following basic requirements:

• Age: You must be 16 years or older.

  
  

• Weight: You must weigh at least 50 kg.

  
  

• Health: You must be in good general health.

  
  

The Importance of Participation

The school emphasizes that every drop makes a difference and that the community's collective effort is vital to saving lives. Blood donation is a critical service, and by hosting this drive, THS Klerksdorp is playing an active role in replenishing the national blood supply.
