The young talents of Tiki Taka Sports Academy are set to make waves in the Free State as they head to Parys for the As’phelelanga U17 Soccer Tournament, scheduled for 14–16 June 2025 at the Fezile Dabi Stadium.
This high-stakes knockout tournament will feature 16 of the most competitive under-17 teams from across the country, promising a weekend packed with thrilling matches, skill showcases, and fierce competition. With over R13,000 in prize money and a wide array of individual accolades on the line, Tiki Taka’s rising stars are ready to prove themselves on a bigger stage.

A Chance to Shine
Known for its dynamic, possession-based style of play, Tiki Taka Sports Academy has grown into one of Potchefstroom’s most exciting football development platforms. Their participation in the As’phelelanga tournament represents more than just a series of matches, it’s an opportunity for young players to gain visibility, build character, and bring pride to their community.
“The boys have trained hard for this moment,” said Coach Tshepiso Mogorosi, head of Tiki Taka’s U17 division. “We’re not just going there to play. We’re going to compete, to represent our town, and to show what disciplined, technical football looks like.”
