A student-organised march, approved by the university, will take place on the Potchefstroom Campus from 09:00 to 13:00.

The event is led by the Economic Freedom Fighter Youth Command (EFFYC) student society and aims to raise awareness about issues of dissatisfaction. An estimated 250 to 400 students are expected to participate.
March Route and Activities
The march will begin in front of the Education Building (C6), where speeches and chanting will take place between 10:00 and 11:00. Participants will then proceed through campus, with Protection Services and marshals from the organisation monitoring the group and escorting them along the route.
The procession will continue toward Lovers Lane, where a memorandum will be handed over at the entrance to F1.
Traffic and Access Impact
Motorists and pedestrians are advised to expect delays. The road leading from the School of Nursing to the Drakestein Restaurant will be closed for motor vehicles between 11:00 and 13:00. Alternative routes will be made available with directions and supervision provided by Protection Services.
Community members and campus visitors are urged to avoid these routes during the indicated times.
