On Tuesday, 09 September 2025, the University of South Africa (UNISA) will bring its 2026 first semester application support services to the Klerksdorp Library. The session will run from 09:00 to 15:00, giving prospective and current students in the area an opportunity to access vital assistance with applications, financial aid, and student services.

Services on Offer
At the Klerksdorp session, UNISA officials will assist with a wide range of services, including:
2026 First Semester Applications for first-time and returning students.
NSFAS assistance, helping applicants with funding queries.
Student advice and counselling, including admission requirements, referrals to the Bureau of Student Counselling, and guidance for those unsure about their career path.
MyUnisa and MyLife activation, ensuring students can access their online portals seamlessly.
These services are crucial for new applicants as well as students who wish to change qualifications or specialisations.

Required Documents
Students attending the session are reminded to bring all necessary documents scanned and saved separately in PDF format on a USB drive. Required documents include:
ID/Passport
Matric certificate
Academic record from other tertiary institutions (where applicable)
Completed qualifications (Diploma, Degree, etc.)
Marriage certificate (if applicable)
Continuing Regional Support
The Klerksdorp session is part of a broader outreach programme by the Potchefstroom Regional Service Centre, which will continue across the region at libraries and institutions, including Tigane, Ventersdorp, and Wolmaransstad. These sessions ensure that students in smaller towns can access the same resources available at major campuses.
