The VVA Parys Charity Golf Day is back on the fairway, with golfers and locals getting ready for a day that promises swings, laughs and a bit of good-hearted competition, all for a great cause.
Event Details
Hosted by Vrystaat Versorging in Aksie (VVA), the event will take place on Friday, 5 December 2025, at the Parys Golf & Country Estate in the Free State. It’s open to all golfers, whether you’re the kind who hits straight down the middle or spends more time in the rough.
The format is Better Ball, so there’s at least a chance your partner might save your score. The entry fee is R500 per person, which includes both the green fee and a golf cart. The day kicks off with a shotgun start at 10:00, meaning everyone tees off at once and there’s no hiding at the back of the queue.
How to Get Involved
Businesses or individuals wanting to lend extra support can sponsor a hole for R500. Payments can be made to:

A Day for a Cause
The event supports VVA’s ongoing community care initiatives. Whether you’re a scratch golfer or the type who brings extra balls “just in case”, this charity day is a chance to play for something meaningful, and maybe even walk away with bragging rights.
So dust off those clubs, polish your shoes, and mark 5 December in the diary. The VVA Parys Charity Golf Day looks set to be a proper day out for golf lovers and local do-gooders alike.
